With Lens Studio 5 the Triplanar Noise node is different. It has only an output of x so it doesn't noise the 3 channels (rgb), how to do this?

Anyone doing this in 2024 - when making the material for the planets, turning Normal Maps off still doesn't get rid of black squares. You need to add the same texture you used in 'Base Texture' into 'Lighting' too. This sorts it out.

Hey! Thanks for a great tutorial. I'm trying to get my sound to play when the user starts recording with the lens and I've set my behavior to on start, and response type to play sound - but it still starts before that, as if it would be "on awake", any idea how to solve this? Thanks.

Any tips on triggering this kind of material based effect only once and have it stay? Have it set up so the texture it's connected to starts invisible. Once it's hit the end of the video length I want it to stop now that the texture is completely visible.

It might be worth mentioning "Component.SpriteVisual" is [DEPRECATED] and replaced with "Component.Image" for any for people just getting started, I know I would have been glad. Oh and thanks to Ben Knutson for the grate video.

4:24 is more correct to say that the function "print" accept and work only with string. So you need to feed it a string variable, not a int or a number. The fast way is to call the .tostring() method in the number variable to convert it in a string => print(number.tostring());
